Resin is a solid or highly viscous substance of plants. They are often mixtures of organic compounds, principally terpenes. Many plants, particularly woody plants, produce resin in response to injury. The resin acts as a bandage protecting the plant from invading insects and pathogens.
People usually confuse Resin with Rosin but both are very different. The rosin is a solidified resin from which the volatile terpene components have been removed by distillation, these are closely related to the terpenes, and derive from them through partial oxidation.

Nutrients make the difference
First, use high quality nutrients; second, you must provide the right amount of them (use your nutrient's feed charts). Too few nutrients will result in plants struggling and never reaching their potential or producing the amount of quality medicine desired. Ventilation builds structure
